Terms of Service

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lugnutly workshop management platform (“Service”), operated by Lugnutly Systems (“Lugnutly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the workshop you represent (“Workshop”, “you”).

1. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating a Workshop account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of staff login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • The Workshop’s Admin is responsible for managing staff access and roles within the Service.

2. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

  • New Workshops receive a free trial period, after which continued access requires an active paid subscription.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We may suspend access if payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable grace period, as reflected in the Service.
  • Plan limits (such as the number of technicians) are enforced as described within the Service and may change with notice.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of customer, vehicle, job, and invoice data your Workshop enters into the Service.
  • You must have the appropriate legal basis and, where required, consent to process your customers’ personal information through the Service.
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable consumer protection, data protection, and tax laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Customer-Facing Features

The Service includes features that communicate directly with your customers on your behalf — including invoices, payment receipts, job approval requests, inspection reports, and portal access. You are responsible for the content you choose to include in these communications and for ensuring they are sent to the correct recipients.

5. Data Ownership

As between you and us, you retain all rights to the data your Workshop enters into the Service. We use that data only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. On cancellation, we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, as described in our data retention practices.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our control may affect availability. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.

7. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain unpaid after the applicable grace period.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends, subject to the data export window described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lugnutly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the Service or by email, and continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Contact Us

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Help / Support page within the Service once signed in.
